Bill and Fred Ensbey are farmers who use their Quik Spray to spray weeds in the
steep Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Bill says "In the early days we sprayed with knapsacks
in this steep country and a day's spraying was very hard work. Since I bought the Quik Spray,
it's now a one man job! A while back we sprayed a part of our steep mountain and when we were
finished we pressed the remote control and the hose pulled us back to the top with ease."

"The most effective method of pruning is to use compressed air, and the most
effective method of managing the air hose is to use the Quik Reel systems. My
staff like using the Quik Reels and they are getting the pruning work done 20%
faster than they did using the manual reels. We also use Quik Reels for
controlling weeds around the farm. We now manage our weeds twice as fast with
half of the associated costs. I will definitely be investing in more
Quik Reels!"

"The Quik Spray hose reel is just great! We no longer have to waste time
winding the hoses. 100 metres of hose can be recovered very quickly, and
in a dangerous situation, that’s really important!"
"The high pressure, low volume pumping unit is unparalleled when it comes
to back burning and is extremely water efficient. With wise use, we get
three hours of water usage compared with half an hour with the conventional
fire fighter."

"The volume delivered by the Quik Spray combined with its capacity for
high pressure ensures it does a great job of getting the sheds really
clean. Other traditional gurney systems just don't have enough volume
moving them all the time to get to all parts of the sheds is very labour
intensive.
"The light hose on the Quik Spray and the rewinding facility makes it really quick
and easy to use. I think it will pay for itself in twelve months just in time and
labour savings!"

Wooroloo Bush Fire Brigade
|
Western Australia, Australia
|
Brigade Lieutenant Des Barker of the Wooroloo Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade says that
the new Quik Spray remote controlled reel saves fire fighters the burden of rolling
up the hose by hand. "The piece of equipment is unique in that you can go 50 metres
into the fire and release the hose back into its unit via a button in your pocket."
Des said that this was particularly helpful when recently fighting fires during a 40
degree heat, which was very strenuous work.
"We are special because all of the other brigades in the area see our new roll and
they all want one!"
